I came to my first one wanting a miracle – a miracle in my relationship and in my business. I had packed with me my vision for the future and my faith in Jean-Pierre to deliver big results in an intensive format. I also packed my many worries, my deep fears, my recurring doubts. I deposited the whole kit and caboodle into the room on Friday night and was enthusiastically welcomed, baggage and all.
Over the course of the weekend I was amazed at the depth of my own exploration. I got to peel back layers that exposed the real me and enabled me to get clear about what I most desired. I had been to many workshops before coming to this one and I was expecting fear-based processes to help me break the glass ceiling I had created in my life. I was wrong. I new ways of thinking at a depth quite astonishing and this was accomplished with ease, fun and unparalleled loving support. I not only received support from Jean-Pierre – who is a gifted and compassionate facilitator – but the whole room. The limited number of participants purposely lends itself to create an intimacy to take a group of complete strangers to soulful friends in a weekend. There are no words to describe the community you have joined by Sunday afternoon.
People often ask me how many retreats I have experienced with Jean-Pierre. My answer: four and counting. Eighteen months ago, I went because I wanted a new relationship – with my husband, with my clients and with myself. I have all three. The husband I was about to trade in is now a man I adore. The quality of people I attract to me as clients amazes me. Best of all, is the relationship I have with myself –a briefcase goddess - who has, at last, surrendered all my senseless DOing for BEing a whole lot more.
